7 Wonders is a favorite in the office at lunch. I like Alexandria B and Rhodes w a focus on civics (blues) and military. You gotta bury your neighbor’s science or you will get smacked down tout-du-suite. Another one I REALLY like is Halikarnassos, where you get freebies from the discard pile.

If you like 7 Wonders, you will like Agricola, too. It is more intricate, but very rewarding.

Also, get Ticket to Ride and the 1910 expansion. If you like that, you will like Power Grid, too.

if you like Deadwood in any capacity, you will lose it when you watch this clip. It is brilliant.
